Caractature of Jocelyn Watts blogging on the beach

Welcome aboard

I’m so excited to be a part of this journey with you. Thanks for trusting me as your guide.

We’ll have adventures together that will take our lives in some really exciting directions.

Whether you’re looking for inspiration or simply need some time to yourself, I will help you follow your dreams.

More articles are coming online soon.

If it’s relaxing in the bath with candles lit and music playing on Spotify, or getting creative by painting all day long, it’ll be covered here.

I will also have fitness tips that keep us healthy yet still fit enough (and fashionable) when we want an evening out.

Plus, there’ll be home ideas as well as travel tales accounting exciting destinations.

Writer, editor, photographer, communicator – with a wicked sense of humour!

With decades of experience as a journalist, editor and communications officer, Jocelyn is now semi-retired and delving into affiliate marketing as part of her own online women’s lifestyle magazine.

She is also a lifelong photographer and lives on the Fraser Coast in Queensland, a region famous for its natural beauty, idyllic lifestyle and history.

Previously, Jocelyn held senior editorial roles at the Fraser Coast Chronicle, Maryborough Herald, and Let’s Go Fishing newspaper before moving to national magazines such as Refinisher, Insight and Super Food Ideas as a freelance journalist and photographer.

Her background also includes stints as an in-house media officer at the University of Southern Queensland (Fraser Coast), UnitingCare Health, and Fraser Coast Regional Council.

Many of her media releases resulted in stories being published in newspapers, magazines, and on television, across Australia, the US and Asia.

She was born and raised at Barcaldine in Outback Queensland before marrying and moving to several locations throughout Queensland with her husband’s role in the finance industry.

Jocelyn’s background in communications, media, photography and business means she can offer insight into the world of publishing; it also ensures that her work reflects what readers want to know about living well in Queensland.

Shopping for your lifestyle products in my store is simple.

Full discloser — yes I do earn a commission on anything you buy as long as your visit was made through one of my affiliate links.

I use this web store to support myself in the lead-up to retirement.

The COVID pandamic has been hard on all of us; thank goodness online business isn’t going anywhere anytime soon so now there will be even more opportunities than ever before when shopping at my store.
